Biography
Wenhua Zhang is a Lecturer and Master's Supervisor at the School of Future Technology, Shanghai University. She was selected for the Shanghai "High-Level Overseas Talent (Youth)" Program.
In 2023, she received her Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science, The University of Hong Kong. She has led several research projects including the Shanghai Natural Science Foundation and the Shanghai University Young Talent Startup Program.
Dr. Zhang has published 8 high-quality journal papers in top-tier venues including:
- IEEE Transactions on Medical Imaging (TMI)
- Medical Image Analysis
- IEEE Transactions on Visualization and Computer Graphics (TVCG)
She holds three related patents and led her team to win the championship in the CoNIC 2022 International Pathology Image Cell Nuclei Segmentation and Classification Challenge.
Her primary research interests include:
- Computer vision
- Medical image processing
- Computer graphics
She teaches undergraduate courses in artificial intelligence including Machine Learning, Pattern Recognition, and Frontiers in Artificial Intelligence, and has supervised several university-level undergraduate innovation training projects.
Students who are passionate about research, possess strong practical skills, and have solid programming abilities are welcome to apply! Especially those interested in computer vision, medical image processing, and computer graphics.
